The week before we welcome you to Jersey, you’ll receive access to a 5-day devotional guide designed to gently prepare your heart, mind, and body. These daily reflections and practical prompts will help you begin to slow down, unplug, and create space for what God wants to do during the retreat.

“The Lord is my shepherd… he leads me beside still waters.” It’s a stunning image—but what does it mean to be led by God into rest, rather than trying to create it on our own terms?
At Still Waters, you’ll be guided through thoughtful, theologically grounded teaching that explores how rest is not a luxury, but a foundational way of life designed by God. Together, we’ll lay biblical groundwork for a life shaped by grace—not driven by hurry—and examine why our culture’s rhythms of productivity and exhaustion so often leave us empty.
This retreat offers more than reflection; it offers reformation. With expert input and space for practical exploration, you’ll learn spiritual practices that gently disrupt old patterns and begin to form new ones—habits that anchor you in the way of Jesus and restore rest as the starting point, not the reward.
It’s a reset. A reorientation. And a quiet challenge: to stop leading yourself, and let the Shepherd lead you.

We understand life happens. If you cancel 90 days or more before the retreat, you’ll receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made after that date are non-refundable due to venue and planning commitments.

We recommend comfortable clothing, walking shoes, a journal or notebook, a physical bible and anything that helps you rest well (a good book, cosy blanket, etc.). We’ll provide a more detailed packing list closer to the time.

This is a Christian retreat grounded in biblical teaching and the way of Jesus, but anyone seeking peace, space, and spiritual reflection is warmly welcome.

We recommend you fly! Jersey is connected to most major cities and is only a 40 minute flight from London.
Whilst airlines suggest you can check-in one hour before departure, we recommend you give yourself longer.

No. We will arrange your transfer to and from the airport and any travel that may be required as part of the retreat. For any self-adventures, the hotel is on a good bus route into the main town, alternatively the hotel will organise taxis.
